As the constitutional crisis continues to rock the Local Government operations in Oyo State, it is generated arguements and counter-arguements as different quarters continue to trade blames on who is the rightful occupier of the Local Government.
As the crisis continues to ensue, ealier today, the PDP stalwarts in Ogbomoso South Local Goverment mobilized in their hundreds to chase away the APC sacked Chairman, Solomon Adeleke who has forcefully taken over the Local Government Secretariat on 27th of January 2020.
Our correspondent gathered that with the directive from the State ALGON Chairman, Hon. Alesh, the sacked APC Local Government Chairmen across the state mobilized their supporters to forcefully take over Local Government even when NULGE has declared holiday. The sacked Chairmen succeeded to take over some Local Government but were fiercely resisted in some few Local Governments.
Ogbomoso South Local Goverment was one of the Local Governments where the sacked Chairmen succeeded in taking over, but today, the PDP stalwarts under the leadership of the Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Oyeniyi Oyedokun Timothy decided to change the narrative as they mobilized and chased the sacked Chairman and his men away from the office.
One of the PDP stalwarts that spoke on anonymity said "Since about four days ago when they started, we left them with their show of shame because we didn't want crisis in our community, but they are already on our nerves, they are riding us like horses, we couldn't endure it any longer and we've decided that we would give them double portion of anything they want to give us, the sacked Chairmen are gone, and gone forever".
This situation continues to generate serious tension in the Pace Setter State as the Governor, Seyi Makinde visited the IG of Police yesterday to see that the tension would not lead to a serious crisis in the State.
